We will start our excursion from Puerto Natales to head to the east part of Torres del Paine National Park.

Before stopping at Amarga lagoon gatehouse, we will visit Sarmiento lake view point, which is the second largest lake in this national park as well as in the region. From here, we can see a large group of guanacos. Another point of interest is Amarga lagoon whose alkaline waters make it attractive.

Here we will have a spectacular view of Paine massif. Once we are at Amarga lagoon gatehouse, we will stop close to Blanquillos lagoon, a key place for endemic birds that come to nest and feed. Some of these birds are ducks, black necked swans and geese.  After leaving Blanquillos lagoon, we will hike for one hour to arrive to a rocky conglomerate where there are more than 20 cave paintings that date back around 6,000 years ago

Later, we will keep walking for three hours to arrive to Sarmiento gatehouse where we will take a break so that we can eat something.

Finally, we will return to the starting point of the tour.
